Friends, please note that the exit numbers on the Maine Turnpike have changed.
Kennebunk is now exit 25 (used to be 3) Word to the Wise: The speed limit in the downtown area is 25 mph. Our diligent local police are often strategically stationed on various town roads, assuring public safety by making sure that these limits are adhered to. |
Welcome to the Kennebunk Coffeehouse the premier venue for acoustic music in Northern New England |
Directions to the Kennebunk Coffeehouse at the First Parish Unitarian Church Corner of Rt 1 (Main Street) and Rt 35 (Fletcher Street) in downtown Kennebunk (Map below) |
I-95 Maine Turnpike to Exit 25 (Kennebunk), about 30 minutes north of Portsmouth
and about 25 minutes south of Portland. ("Southerners" please note: Please
note that the numbering of the Turnpike and I-95 exits is a bit confusing
when traveling from the south. The Kennebunk exit 25 is about 18 miles
past the Turnpike toll plaza in York.) When you get off at Turnpike Exit 25, Kennebunk & Kennebunkport, (taking care not to overshoot the exit and arrive at the Burger King rest stop) make a left turn to take route 35 toward downtown Kennebunk (follow signs). Go straight for about a mile. About a quarter mile after passing Kennebunk High School on the left, you will enter the Kennebunk Roundabout. Pass the first (Storer St) exit, take the second roundabout exit to continue on Fletcher Street. Proceed for about another half mile. Look for the Kennebunk Free Library on your left. About 100 feet before you reach the traffic light at Rt 1, make a left turn into the Kennebunk Free Library parking lot. Pass the library and drive around to the back of the lot. You'll see the side entrance (coffeehouse entrance) of the Church right ahead of you. If this lot is full, you can park in the bank parking lots located adjacent to the Library /Church lot, or across Fletcher Street. You may also park across from the Church on Main Street. |

For Town Hall shows, the travel directions are the same; the Town Hall is across
the street from the Unitarian Church. There is some parking in the Town Hall
lot, but the above parking possibilities are still good ones. |
