The Kennebunk Coffeehouse

The Kennebunk Coffeehouse is an all volunteer non-profit music venue.  Unlike other non-profits, no one at the Coffeehouse receives payment for their work.  Everyone that works here, whether it be the Director, Sound Man or the person making coffee at the shows, is a unpaid volunteer.  We do this because we all share the same vision - that music can change the world.  We love the music, the artists that create the music and the audience that shares our passion for live performance.

Most of the money generated by ticket sales goes directly to the artist.  What little is left is used for rent, office supplies, sound equipment and other various operating expenses.

These expenses can be substantial.  At times the ticket sales alone do not cover our expenses.  We are honored by the support the local and business community have given us over the years.  We are humbled that people believe enough in what we do that they are willing to support us with financial donations or donations of services and products.
